Hi friend — I’m so glad you’re here.
My name is Rachel, and this is Lighthouse Creative.

In 2019, my husband, Jon Lumbreras, surprised me with a camera. At the time, I had no idea it would completely change the course of my life.

Later that year, one of my best friends got engaged, and something in me told me to bring my camera to her celebration… so I did. I captured the little details, the joy, and quiet moments with her grandfather — moments that would soon become incredibly meaningful.

That day changed everything for me.
I realized photography wasn’t just about taking pictures.
It was about presence.
It was about preserving what matters most.
It was about giving people the freedom to fully experience a moment, knowing it wouldn’t be lost.

I left that night completely hooked — and I’ve never looked back.

Today, I’m a full-time wedding photographer, a wife (married since 2018), a mama, and usually being followed around by our dog, Dobby.

I know what it feels like to plan a wedding and dream about a marriage that truly lasts. That perspective shapes everything I do.
